Intro to Good Food: the Basic Concepts of Traditional Food Preparation for Best Nutrition

It seems the ‘rules’ surrounding food are changing all the time; it’s hard to know what is good information, and what is just a passing fad in the wellness world. How best to navigate the information out there?

This three hour primer is a great place to start.

Join Luka Symons, local Holistic Nutrition Practitioner to help decipher between the real and the hubbub surrounding how best to feed yourself and your loved ones, and uncover the basics of good food & nutrition. We’ll talk eating real food, and what that looks like. We’ll talk cooking from scratch, and demystify the whole thing. We’ll touch on batch cooking, and go over the idea of meal planning. You will leave armed with meal planning tools, resources, recipes and ideas on how to make this a do-able task.

This is a class for anyone from beginner to super-foodie. It’s about the good food + you.

*This is the first in a series of five part series on Traditional Foods concepts called Intro to GoodFoods, based on the principles and ideas of the Weston A. Price Foundation.

Cost is $30 per person, and seating is limited. Tickets must be pre-purchased. In order to reserve your spot, please head to this page to register online or contact the Light Cellar at 403.453.1343.

I look forward to seeing you there!
