Take Out Fake Out: VIETNAMESE

There is something about Vietnamese Food that draws you in, but you're not quite sure what it is. Is it the fresh ingredients? The spicy hit that builds over the course of that first bite? Maybe it's the fact that you feel pretty good after eating this take-out favourite.

Is this you: more often than not, when given the choice of grabbing a quick lunch out, you opt to go for Vietnamese. Who doesn't love the variety and flavours, right?

Or is this you: when friends or family come visit and you need something quick to grab after a long day about town showing them the sights, you want something that will please everyone (even your picky great-aunt who often steers away from foods from another land), Vietnamese it is.

What if I told you you can make this at home. With some easy-to-find ingredients and simple grocery staples. Ingredients that not only give you good flavour, but also help reduce inflammation + nourish deeply. Let's do it! (This is, in passing, how I encourage you to play with your food!)

This is the third in the series TAKE OUT FAKE OUT. Let's chase Vietnamese flavours, incorporate those five fundamental tastes that are a part of every Vietnamese dish. We'll balance out those sour, bitter, sweet, spicy and salty notes in a bowl of traditional Bun (those rice noodles we all love!) with a fish and pork option. We'll also use up that Meat Stock your Holistic Nutrition Practitioner has you making and upgrade it to a piping hot bowl of traditional Pho. Sign me up!

$60 per person, with limited class size. Happening in a private home.

THIS CLASS IS CLOSED TO REGISTRATION - already sold out!
